The mount features three 3-inch suction cups arranged in a stable triangular layout, providing strong adhesion that minimizes shaking during use. It delivers up to 44 pounds of horizontal holding force and 26 pounds of vertical holding force on smooth surfaces, with a recommended load of 2.2 pounds, allowing you to focus on driving while capturing footage with confidence.
It is designed to work well even on slightly curved surfaces. The dual ball head system allows for up to 15° of fine adjustment at the suction base, making it easier to achieve a secure seal on areas like a car’s hood, side panels, or trunk.
The system also offers flexible setup options for different shooting scenarios. You can configure it in multiple ways, such as using a single suction cup with a magic arm or adapter, dual suction cups with a magic arm, or a triple suction setup combined with a magic arm, tube clamp adapter, and extension pole. It can also be paired with an extension pole and an action camera adapter, though using an extension pole with single or dual suction setups is not recommended.
Additionally, the included dual-purpose selfie stick has four telescoping sections that extend from 12.5 inches (32 cm) to 43.3 inches (110 cm). It can be used handheld for panoramic shots or attached as an extension pole to the suction mount. The top 1/4" screw supports phone clamps and action camera adapters, while the dual ball head allows full 360° angle adjustment. A safety lanyard is also included for added protection.
Overall, the mount can be attached to various parts of a vehicle, including the hood, windshield (inside or outside), doors, or side panels, making it suitable for capturing immersive first-person footage. It is compatible with a wide range of action cameras such as DJI Action, GoPro Hero series, Insta360 models, and AKASO cameras. When using it on the exterior of a vehicle, it is recommended to keep speeds below 80 km/h and use a safety lanyard for safety.
