Overview

• Benetech GT85 is a professional device for testing the connection of phase, zero, and ground in the socket, as well as testing the operation of an RCD by creating a load of 30 mA.

• The Benetech GT85 socket tester is reliable and easy to use, with a robust housing and modern ergonomic design. The small dimensions of the tester provide its mobility. The device is equipped with an LED indication of the correct connection of the socket contacts and is manufactured in accordance with the safety standard EN61010.

• After plugging into the socket, from 0 to 3 LEDs will light up at the top of the tester, depending on the correct connection of the wires in the socket. All possible combinations of LED illumination are indicated on the front panel of the device:

• The device is designed to test European-type sockets with a phase position on the right side. If the tester shows an incorrect phase position, it should be turned 180 ° and turned back on.

• Also, the GT85 tester has a residual current device (RCD) test function. To check the RCD, you need to press the tester button, while it will create a leakage current of 30 mA and the residual current device must work. When the button is held down, the LED labeled RCD TEST will light up. The button cannot be held for more than 3 seconds.
