The CN-60S sounds great in the studio or by the campfire, and it has features normally found on more expensive classical guitars, including a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck with a comfortable easy-to-play profile, and a smooth rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges. Its concert body shape and quality tonewoods deliver a solid, full-bodied sound with ample projection for vocal accompaniment, recitals, etc. The CN-60S features a solid spruce top with traditional fan bracing and mahogany back and sides, producing warm, balanced tones from low to high. With its concert body shape and rosewood fingerboard, the CN-60S is a guitar that just looks and plays great.

Typically, classical guitars have necks that are considerably wider than those found on steel-string acoustic guitars. But on the CN-60S, Fender has replaced the wide-style neck with one that measures only 1.69" at the nut — extremely narrow for a nylon-string guitar.
