The Rode Blimp Extension Long for Shotgun Microphones is an add-on kit for the Rode Blimp Windshield System that allows the use of Long Shotgun Microphones, including the Rode NTG8 Shotgun Microphone and any Shotgun up to 600mm in length.
This Rode Blimp Extension Long for Shotgun Microphones is made from the same material as the Blimp accessory and has threaded fittings on both sides. It also does not interfere with the audio quality of the Shotgun microphone, as it maintains the acoustic invisibility system. The Rode Blimp Extension Long kit includes a 256mm extension, 2 sets of rigid silicone bands, DeadWombat Extra Long Windshield and a Hair Brush.
